A Ministry of First United Methodist Church
What is Twice Blessed?
Our Ministry which is under the umbrella of First
United Methodist Church is to help meet the needs of those changing their
lifestyles. Our personnel go into homes and assist the families to dispose of
household furnishings and personal effects.
We can help by having a sale in your home or pack
and move items to the shop for sale.
What is the cost?
Clients will receive 60% of the sales price.
What happens to the other 40%?
The money is used to support local charities in the
San Marcos area and to fund special projects for the First United Methodist
Church, San Marcos, Texas.
Why use Twice blessed?
The Estate Committee is trained in pricing most
items, but will seek assistance when needed. For an in-house sale, we set-up,
staff and advertise the sale. After the sale all items that meet our consignment
policies will be moved to the shop. Our volunteers are courteous and sensitive
to the feelings associated with closing a family estate.
